Are You Questioning Your Purpose?
Updated: May 21, 2019
Some days I think "Why am I putting all of this effort in"?
"Who is listening"?
"Who is learning from me"?
"Should I keep going"?
There are days when I think I should throw in the towel and go back to the good old rat race
Then I get cold chills and get my laptop out and type faster than I've ever typed before!

I remind myself of my amazing clients
I remember over 15 years of experience and learning for me to be able to give my best self back to others
I remember my unique skills to give individuals and business owners what they need the most.....
More Time
More Energy
More Freedom
Then I also remember......
I have a purpose!
"To help 1 million individuals to live a more fulfilled life to run their lives and their businesses with more time, energy and freedom"
This keeps me motivated on the few days that I have a wobble.
Some days though it can be hard to stay motivated
Some days you will wonder why you're doing what you're doing
But keep going!
Stay focused on your dream
Don't get side tracked by other's opinions
Don't compare your chapter 1 to someone else's chapter 20
What do you do to stay motivated when times get tough and you question your purpose?
My go to quote when I have a wobble is:
"Life is like riding a bicycle, to keep your balance you must keep moving"
How do you stay on track when you have a wobble?
Here's my 5 ways to keep on track when questioning your purpose:
1. Keep going
Your instinct is stronger than you think. If you're on a path, it may be just the right one. Don't give up at the first door that shuts but also know when to change paths
2. Get certain on why you're doing what you're doing
WHY are you doing this? WHO is it for? Get really clear on what you want from the path you're on. What can you give back and what will you get from it?
3. Get clear on where you're headed
How can you know which road to take if you don't know your final destination? Get clear on your final outcome and what it is you want before you set off on the journey. Create some clear concrete goals that you can break down into manageable chunks
4. Get support
Get a cheerleader on your side for when times get tough (which they will). Whether it's a friend, a colleague, a mentor or coach, get someone on board who you can go to to help support you through the tough times and celebrate the good!
5. Go f**king do it
The best book I ever read said "stop reading books and take action" which made me laugh from an author who was trying to sell his books! Sometimes in life it's time to step up and take action. Go make some changes in your life and be brave.
Stop questioning your purpose and start taking action.
As one of my favourite books said "Stop reading, start taking action".
Now's your time to do just that.
P.S. As and when you're ready I can help you become braver by increasing your resilience levels from just £39. Email nik@nikhanson.com for more info.
